Abstract
|
|
|
1. Increment of DM prevalence rate is shown indirectly by hcspital deta.
2. This increment was well ccrrelated with economic growth.
3. Increment of female prevalence was higher than that of male prevalence.
4. Prevalence seems to be much higher in Secul area and older group above age 40 showed higher increment rate cf prevalence than the younger groups.
5. Death rate by DM in Kcrea in 1979 is 4 per 100, 000 and it is similar to that in Japan in mid 1960 s.
